Regional Director – USA

Reporting directly to VP, Global Sales, will be responsible for providing leadership to the sales department by monitoring the effectiveness of the sales efforts and ensuring it is aligned with the overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop growth strategies and lead and implement them effectively.
  • Appropriately manage your teams pipeline and existing customer relationships to achieve your team as well as corporate growth targets.
  • Assist in the identification of solutions and technologies that drive sales efficiency and revenue growth.
  • Manage and improve on the existing SalesForce based processes to enable effective and transparent management to help increase sales effectiveness.
  • Appropriately assist in creating and work within defined budgets to deliver on forecast targets.
  • Ensure availability of proper sales training initiatives and play a leadership and mentorship role to sales personnel within your team and across the organization.
  • Responsible for sales analytics, sales tracking, and reporting of sales performance for you and your team.
  • Participate in sales events, seminars, and workshops, to help establish CMG as an industry leader.
  • Work with cross-functional teams such as marketing, finance, product, etc. to develop integrated plans and strategies with appropriate market feedback.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience dealing with and understanding the sales process and account management as it relates to selling technical solutions and related services to oil and gas, companies or Energy Transition companies based in the US, and a network of relevant contacts within those companies.
  • Able to close deals effectively and not just generate interest and fill pipelines.
  • Strong focus on good customer relationship management essential. Company-Customer loyalty is key!
  • Expertise in developing C-suite relationships and selling to an executive level.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor a team in modern sales techniques.
