Director, BizOps and Strategy

You will work closely with the CEO to drive strategic initiatives and ensure the effective operation of the organization. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a track record of successfully managing projects and teams. Simply put, as part of the CEO’s office, you are tasked with defining the corporate strategy and closing the gap between strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with the CEO to manage the internal communication and reporting framework, including:

  • Developing the organizational strategy execution plan and monitoring the progress against key deliverables, milestones, and timeframes.
  • Developing and tracking the organizational OKRs.
  • Implement monthly and quarterly business reviews with the CEO and develop supporting collateral.
  •  Quarterly performance reports for the Board.
  • Supporting the VPs with internal communications.
  • Lead special projects/programs, including project planning, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.

Facilitate data-driven decision-making:

  • Conduct research, analyze data, and provide insights to support decision-making by senior leadership.
  • Create a dashboard to track company-wide OKRs and key metrics.

Amplify communication from the CEO’s Office:

  • Lead internal comms, strategy communication, and employee all-hands meetings.
  • Participate in creating a business continuity plan. Lead managing crisis situations and own all internal responses and comms.
  • Lead leadership offsites by creating the agenda, theme, speakers, CEO’s keynote, and track action items.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects and teams to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Be customer focused, learn about the business to help bring value to our customers
  • Team focused with a positive attitude, must be self-motivated, and have very good time management and communication skills both in written and verbal English.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a strategic planning or operations capacity
  • Experience in crisis management and change management is a plus
