Manager, Tax and Treasury

• Prepare annual Canadian tax returns across entities including T2, and other various
  Canadian tax filings as needed;
• Work with external consultants and review US federal and state compliance
  requirements including tax returns, nexus assessments, franchise tax reports, state
  registrations and filings;
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance filing through effective management of
  deadlines, including the review and filing VAT returns for European, Middle East entities,
  and the coordination and review of international compliance prepared by external
  consultants;
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline tax workflows and enhance accuracy;
• Prepare tax accounting entries, including tax provisions and transfer pricing;
• Participate in tax audits;
• Lead international tax planning initiatives through liaison with external consultants and
  implement strategies to minimize corporate tax liability in accordance with current laws;
• Manage daily cash operations, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity
  management, while considering tax implications of applied cash management strategies
  across international jurisdictions;
• Lead the planning and execution of debt financing initiatives, including negotiations with
  lenders and financial institutions.
• Support M&A activity by providing financial insights and risk assessments, including but
  not limited to due diligence, acquisition integration, post-acquisition tax planning;
• Work on special projects as needed.
