As part of the Customer Success & Consulting team, the successful candidate will play an active role in the delivery of high-quality support, training & consulting services to end users and customers of CMG in a global setting.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of a world-wide team in the Customer Success & Consulting (CSC) group of CMG, you will be providing reservoir engineering and simulation assistance to CMG’s reservoir simulation software clients in a global setting. Specific opportunities include:

  • Becoming familiar with oil and gas recovery processes with emphasis on advanced EOR processes
  • Becoming skilled in performing reservoir engineering studies
  • Becoming skilled in performing production engineering studies, including wellbore and facility design
  • Becoming adept at processes such as CO2 sequestration & EOR as well as Geothermal modelling to lead our clients into the energy transition
  • Becoming proficient with CMG’s software suite, including the graphical pre- and post-processors, EOS phase behavior software and CMG’s reservoir simulators
  • Play a leading role in supporting CMG clients who use the software for a variety of challenging and leading-edge petroleum reservoir recovery processes
  • Provide and assist with training to CMG clients when required
  • Assist senior consultants with simulation studies conducted for clients worldwide

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Targeted Programs: ENBI, ENCH, ENER, ENOG
  • This position requires the ability to communicate clearly both orally and verbally.
  • The candidate will show initiative, including asking for help when needed, and excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • This position requires strong interpersonal skills to assist in developing good client relationships.
  • A strong interest in reservoir engineering is a requirement.
  • Knowledge of geology and petrophysics will be an asset (but not a requirement), as well experience with MS PowerPoint and Excel.
