Sales Director, Western Hemisphere

CMG is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director, Western Hemisphere, to lead sales and commercialization efforts of CoFlow & IPSM Solutions across the region. This is a full-time, permanent position focused on driving growth, fostering customer relationships, and expanding market presence for CoFlow’s advanced oil and gas production technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and sales background, particularly in Production Engineering and software solutions, integrated production system modeling (IPSM) and reservoir simulation software.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work as part of the CoFlow sales and commercialization team, under the direction of VP-CoFlow.

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow CoFlow’s presence in the Western Hemisphere.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while managing and expanding existing accounts.
  • Promote and sell CoFlow’s production & Integrated reservoir modeling software to oil and gas operators, service companies, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across customer accounts, becoming the go-to expert for Coflow’s solutions.
  • Work closely with VP of CoFlow and the sales and commercialization teams to drive revenue growth.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and opportunity development to closing in a timely manner.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and performance reporting to senior management.
  • Collaborate with technical support and product development teams to ensure customer success and drive product innovation.
  • Represent CoFlow at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, enhancing brand visibility and market position.
  • Stay informed on emerging oilfield technologies, digital transformation trends, and energy transition initiatives (CO2 storage, hydrogen, geothermal, etc.) to align Coflow’s offerings with industry needs.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Production Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory with significant experience).
  • Proven sales and account management experience in oil and gas software solutions, with a strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience selling reservoir simulation and production engineering software such as CMG IMEX, GEM, STARS, Eclipse, Intersect, Nexus tNavigator, GAP, Prosper, OLGA, Pipesim, Wellflo, Hysys, or similar technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of integrated production system modeling (IPSM) and its applications in oil and gas production optimization.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills, with a focus on long-term client engagement and value creation.
  • Ability to manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure and revenue realization.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with minimal need for supervision.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Experience using CRM or Salesforce for sales tracking and customer engagement.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the Western Hemisphere to meet clients, attend events, and drive sales initiatives.
  • Be customer focused, learn about the business to help bring value to our customers.
  • Team focused with a positive attitude, must be self-motivated, and have very good time management and communication skills both in written and verbal English.
