Software & Licensing Assistant

Computer Modelling Group Ltd. (CMG) is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Software & Licensing Assistant to join our Calgary team. Reporting to the Head of Legal, this role is responsible for managing software licenses, supporting sales agreements, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure smooth operations. Success in this role requires a proactive attitude, strong administrative skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Software Licensing and Invoicing:
    • Issue and manage software licenses.
    • Prepare and code software invoices accurately. Enter invoice information into Net Suite accounting program
    • Organize and maintain documentation to support invoicing.
  • Client and Team Support:
    • Resolve non-technical software issues in collaboration with clients and account managers.
    • Prepare and assist with sales agreements in Ironclad, coordinate collection of signatures for execution
    • Provide administrative support for the sales team.
  • Documentation and Records Management:
    • Scan, upload, and organize contracts and related documents in Ironclad Document Management System.
    • Maintain and update client files systematically.
  • General Administration:
    • Assist with various administrative tasks for the legal and sales teams.
    • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support team efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Sales Force and Ironclad.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in administrative roles; experience in licensing or invoicing is an asset.
